Cody & Rebekah
Hoping to adopt
Dear Expectant Mom/Birth Mom
Words cannot truly express how thankful we are for you. We have been praying for you for quite some time now. We are so thankful for the love you have for your child that has led you to consider an adoption plan. We are Cody and Rebekah. We are parents to our a sweet, little, boy, and feel led to expand our family through adoption. We feel God has placed a calling on our lives to adopt. This calling first began with Rebekah in high school, when she did some work gathering supplies for a missionary who worked with orphanages. This desire was shared with Cody as the relationship progressed to an engagement, and he was on board. The call to adopt was confirmed again during a church service in which the pastor spoke of God’s calling on our lives to help widows and orphans. We knew God was preparing us for a new addition and have been praying for the child and his or her precious first mom ever since. We are blessed to attend a wonderfully diverse and loving church! Thanks again for stopping by our page, and please don’t hesitate to ask us any questions.
We love our home! We live out in the country close to Rebekah’s parents. We have a fenced-in yard with lots of space to play. We have one fur baby (dog), who love to play, receive tummy rubs, and is great with children. We have completed work on our nursery, and have all the supplies we need for a new addition. We are blessed to live near so many wonderful places including the beach and the mountains.
It is important to note that we are zoned for an excellent school district with a small elementary school (great for one-on-one attention) and a middle and high school with excellent rankings and scores. This means a great future for our children!
My name is Cody. I work repairing water lines at a local utility company . I am lucky to work super close to our home. I am so thankful for a job that allows me this extra time with my family because of my short commute, and holidays off. My favorite thing to do is to be with my family, whether it be traveling, spending a night at home playing board games with them, or camping out in our living room. I really enjoy putting LEGO sets together with our son. I consider myself to be funny, hard-working, and organized. I love my family and helping others. I currently am a Shriner and help raise money for the children’s hospital in our area.
I love being a wife and a mommy. Being an excellent wife and a mom are the most important things in my life. I am blessed to have a career that I love and that allows me to spend a great deal of time with my family. I am a Speech-Language Pathologist for a private practice. I currently work with the pediatric population, who have communication impairments. I love my work, which makes it not feel like work. When thinking about words that I use to describe me, I think of outgoing, patient, funny, and kind. I enjoy baking, book club, and giving back to the local community. I currently serve on the our local community park council, where I volunteer to help develop our local park and recreation area.
This is Us
We are such a close family. We are blessed that our son has amazing grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. We love traveling to new places, going to fun events in the community, and just spending time together. Every Saturday morning, Cade and Rebekah cook breakfast together. He loves to help cook. We enjoy going to our local park, bowling alley, and the movies during the weekends. Cade also loves to play games, and we have a pretty good variety. Our favorite game is currently Pie Face. During the week, we typically enjoy dinner at home (Rebekah cooks), work on school work with Cade, play together, and read books.
Our son, Cade, is sweet, smart, and funny. He is an excellent big cousin to our young nephew--so loving and patient. He is going to make a wonderful big brother and has been asking for a little sister or brother for a while now.
